Hepworth Zombie Walk: Medical Nightmares

Hepworth Zombie Walk Halloween

Inspired by their new Barbara Hepworth exhibition: ‘The Hospital Drawings’, The Hepworth Wakefield are hosting a ‘Medical Nightmare’ themed Zombie walk on November 3rd, so I’ve given their Zombie Walk flyer a bit of a facelift.
Zombies are invited to limp, stagger and moan their way through the gallery.
Dress up as a patient or scary surgeon and get terrifying make-up on site from just £2. Entry to the event is totally FREE!

Little Print Shop of Horrors II

Ringu-Print

The nice folk at Creative Spark have opened the doors to The Little Print Shop of Horrors II, a great charity project, started last year, where they redesign horror film posters and sell them as lovely A3, 2 colour risograph prints. They asked if I’d have a go at one, so did this Ringu design.
Go and have a look around the shop and pick up a bargain. There are some great ones in there. All proceeds this year go to Marie Curie Cancer Care

Top Bunk! and Sketch-O-Matic

Top-Bunk-Sneak-01
This Friday 12th October sees the launch of Top Bunk! at Cornerhouse. An exhibition of affordable art (£100 and under), in which I have three new prints. There are some fine local artists involved, so do pop in and pick up a reasonably priced early Christmas present or two (it’s on until 13th November)
The opening coincides with the return of Sketch-O-Matic, which I was involved in last year. Patrons sit in a photobooth, pay their pound (or more, should they wish!) and wait, whilst behind the glass an artist feverishly recreates their likeness, dropping it out of the slot five minutes later. It was a great experience, if a little nerve-wracking, and I can’t wait for the first of my three stints. I’ll be in there between 7-8pm this Friday.

Manc Map

Manc-Map-B0

I was asked by Don’t Panic to illustrate their Manc Map. A handy navigational tool for new students to Manchester, the Manc Map is, in Don’t Panic’s words, ‘a beautifully charismatic and unconventional depiction of Manchester City Centre’. Aww, thanks guys!
