Hammo is a freelance illustrator and mural painter based in Manchester
I spent last week painting a mural at Building Blocks, a Manchester based digital agency. They wanted a set of shelves painting in their reception, populated with various objects to reflect a few of their interests and inspirations, along with some references to clients and a couple of in-jokes.

I was commissioned by the lovely folks at ThoughtWorks Manchester to decorate a wall in their offices on the 26th floor of City Tower. The amazing views of the city from up there served as great inspiration for what has turned into a giant robot game of hide and seek, complete with snap-happy onlookers.
Also in there is a reference to Mustard Tree. A great local charity who provide support for the homeless and marginalised, and with whom ThoughtWorks have worked (and continue to work) closely. Check out their fantastic upcoming Empty Shop project.
Samurai Jack
I drew a (very late) Samurai Jack for The Mooks’ #DrawSamuraiJack which finished last month (Erk!)
I’ve drawn another flyer for The Hepworth Wakefield – this time for a life drawing event inspired by the works of Roger Hiorns (currently on display at The Calder).
